BUPROFEZIN 25% SC

DESCRIPTION: ALLOWED is an insecticide used for the control of sucking pests of rice, cotton, chillies, mango, and grapes, particularly against plant hoppers, whiteflies, aphid, jassids, thrips, mites, hoppers, mealy bugs, etc.

MODE OF ACTION: Buprofezin inhibits chitin formation, thereby causing abnormal endocuticular deposition and abortive molting. As a result of chitin deficiency, the procuticle of the insects loses its elasticity and the insect is unable to complete the molting process, which leads to death of the insect.

FEATURES & BENEFITS:

  • It has both insecticidal and acaricidal properties.
  • Highly selective to most beneficial families of insects. Specific control of homopteran pests – ideally suited for use in IPM programme.
  • Also acts as an insect growth regulator. It should be sprayed immediately at the beginning of BPH appearance so that it controls BPH in the nymph stage. It influences egg-laying capacity of adult BPH and thereby stops the new generation from appearing.
  • It protects your crop for at least 12 days.
  • It gives phyto-tonic effect to the plant.

ANTIDOTE: No Specific Antidote. Treat Symptomatically.
